Aromatherapy And GreenPet
Before working at Vita Canis and now at GreenPet , I knew little about essential oils and aromatherapy. I was aware that essential oils were used when I went for my feet reflexology or massage, and my friend Anna used them for her oil burner and lava stone bracelet, but that was about it.
Nowadays, my everyday work and personal life revolve around the use of these fantastic miracles called Essential Oils. I don’t need to use perfume, as I usually smell like the blend I was working with. Today, for example, I smell like giant Calming Wax Melt and what a divine smell it is!!!
All our GreenPet products use essential oils and the health benefits of aromatherapy. We add them to every single product. Usually, it’s more than two oils mixed with top-quality hydrosols, butter, or plant oils.
Why are essential oils so important for GreenPet?
We only use high-quality naturally occurring oils. The essential oils we use are steam-distilled from a range of herbs and plants, which have beneficial properties for the well-being of pets and their owners. We use a wide range of essential oils, including Geranium, German chamomile, Lavender, Sweet Basil, and Bergamot.
All the essential oils we use are 100% pure and 100% natural, providing natural ways to deliver aroma, freshness, and healing.
Our products do not contain preservatives or synthetic ingredients as we believe using natural products is better for you, your pet, and the environment.
What are the essential oils, and what is aromatherapy?
Essential oil is essential because it contains the essence of the plant’s fragrance. They are usually extracted by distillation, often by using steam. Essential oils have been used for thousands of years with the aim of improving a person’s health or mood.
Aromatherapy, or essential oil therapy, refers to a range of traditional, alternative, or complementary therapies that use essential oils and other aromatic plant compounds.
My favourite essential oils are:
*Geranium when I need to balance my hormones
*Peppermint to help me breathe when I have a bad cough
*Lavender to repel moths and to help me relax
*Lemon gives my washing a lovely fresh smell
I am still just at the beginning of using essential oils in my household.
